Oklahoma celebrated its 100th anniversary of statehood on November 16,
2007. And no one knows how to kick off a party of this magnitude better
than Beyondigital. In collaboration with Ad Agency, Ackerman McQueen
and the Department of Oklahoma Tourism, we created the official website
for the thousands of concerts, events, expos, exhibits, and parades
that occured in celebration of this significant milestone in Oklahoma’s
history.
The site was broken down into four major metropolitan areas and contained many searchable and maintainable community driven features. Working in close collaboration with the Centennial’s Citizens Committee, legislators, agency directors and mayors, this commemorative site is geographically and ethnically inclusive, reflecting Oklahoma’s history and heritage, and leaving a lasting legacy for future generations.
